The Mill
An authentic refurbished two-story 19th century mill, equipped with modern bathrooms. Downstairs features a larger open room. Upstairs has six dorm rooms.

For decades groups have traveled to enjoy and make use of RVR's varied and rich-historied retreat facilities and programs. "Frontier Town" is our valley campus minutes away from our Fort Roller campus on the hill. Frontier Town features numerous dormitories (all bunk style), large and small group meeting spaces, dining facilities, and a bevy of indoor and outdoor activities. We are always improving our property and are happy to offer clean & climate controlled rooms, ADA accessibility, ample parking, and much more to more than meet your group needs. Your onsite, dedicated RVR retreat host will be with you every step of the way. Welcome to Frontier Town at RVR!
Base Rates for Frontier Town
Frontier Town retreats can accommodate groups of 40 to 200+ and are only offered October to November and March to April.
Included in the base rate are the following items/services: lodging for 2 nights and 5 meals (Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast), use of a group meeting space with AV package (projector, sound system, & one microphone), use of sports playing fields, and a complimentary campfire! Our retreat coordinator will match your group with the housing facilities below that best fit your group's size and needs. Additional activities are available a la carte and depending on availability.

The Livery
A ranch style bunkhouse with two large separated rooms, each equipped with bunk beds and bathrooms/showers.
*Accomodates up to 42 guests.
Muddy Creek House
A two-story building that features dorm-style rooms of varying size and modern bathrooms/showers on each floor, as well as a porch for each level. The largest room on the first floor also features a beautiful stone fireplace.
*Accomodates up to 78 guests.
Line Camp
An authentic looking log cabin with bunk beds and a large bathroom. An open area with couches in the center of the room can also serve as a small group discussion space or for recreational hang out time.
*Accomodates up to 40 guests.
Meeting Facilities
Old Town Meeting House (OTM)
The OTM is our largest meeting space. Equipped with large screens, heavy duty sound & lighting systems, and a full size stage, it is sure to meet your needs.

Buffalo Lodge
Our second largest meeting space is the Buffalo Lodge, featuring digital sound and lighting, dual large-screen TV's, a large screen projector, and is fully climate controlled with restrooms in building.

The Oxbow
The Oxbow is sized for smaller guest groups, or for breakout meetings from a larger group. Equipped with a large flat-screen TV, this space is ideal for a class, lecture, or round-table sessions. It's attached to our main complex, so it connects directly to our Wagon Wheel snack shop and Trading Post camp store.
Other Facilities
Dining
We have three adjacent indoor dining areas in Frontier Town (the Dining Tent, Dining Hall, and Dining Cabin) and an outdoor patio area furnished with picnic tables and umbrellas for warm weather days. We offer family-style seating for groups of all sizes and convenient buffet-line service. If you're expecting "just camp food" during your stay, think again— we strive to provide delicious, nutritious, and fresh food that demonstrates love and care to each guest. We also welcome your requests to meet dietary concerns and restrictions.
Gymnasium
Your group will love having access to our gymnasium with full-size basketball court! The comfortable rubberized surface is perfect for free time hoops, dodgeball tournaments, and the list goes on. Rain or shine the gym's got you covered ;)
Camp Store
RVR's camp store is located in Frontier Town as well. You can request that this be part of your retreat to give your guests the added bonus of being able to purchase snacks, beverages, and other fun RVR camp merchandise to remember their time here!
